White fused alumina is made from excelle industrial alumina and melted in arc fuaces at high temperature of 2050℃.It is featured by high purity, good self-sharpening, low grinding heat output, acid-alkali and coosion resistance, good stability at high temperature, and low porosity, etc.
As the main raw material for producing middle/high-class monolithic refractories or formed refractory products, white fused corundum is used primarily for ladle castable, iron runner castable gunning refractory or other monolithic refractory products. As for formed refractories, it’s chiefly used in producing corundum bricks, corundum-mullite saggers, refining-used corundum porous plug bricks, iegral blowing lance, three-piece for steel making con-casting production, ultra-high temperature industrial fuace lining, and other corundum products. It’s also the high-quality raw material in abrasives industries, mainly used for producing grinding wheel, grinding and polishing tools, as well as the most promising material with bound less prospects used in military, ship building, glass making, aerospace, optical-instrume-manufacturing, nuclear power plas construction and other industries.
