Thelengthoftheblasubemustbeselectedaccordingtothein-
dicationsprovidedbythemanufactureroftheboiler,andinany
caseitmustbegreaterthahethicknessoftheboilerdoorcom-
pletewithitsfeling.
Forboilerswithfrofluepasses1)(Fig.13)orflameinversio
chamber,aprotectioninrefractorymaterial5)mustbeinserted
betweeheboilerfeling2)andtheblasube4).
Therefractorycanhaveaconicalshape(minimum60°).
Thisprotectivefelingmustnotcompromisetheextractionofthe
blasube.
Forboilerswithawater-cooledfropiece,arefractorylining2)-
5)(Fig.13)isnotnecessary,unlessexpresslyrequestedbythe
boilermanufacturer.
