cover. Each is available itwoconfigurations.Theno-shroud configuration, showifigure 1,will allow aropesockeor “torpedo”o pass
overhe wheel. The half-shroud configuration, showninfigure2, has a cable shroud covering parofhe wheeloaidincotaininghe line

Safe Working Load
Theated safe working load (SWL) for a WTI 14” sheave is15,000lbs.(6,800 kg.), withhe exceptioofhosemanufacturedfo
Schlumberger. These sheaves, as directed bySchlumberger,havea safe working load of 10,000 lbs. (4,530kg.). Theallowableline pull will
depend upobothhe SWL andhe anglehe lineisdeflected.Ifhe sheave is used as aop sheave, itdeflectsthe line 180°,see figure 3. If
he sheave is used as a boom sheave, ideflectshe line90°,seefigure 4. Never exceedhe SWL, unlessspecialprecautions aretakei
accordance with your company’s policy. Theseprecautionsshouldinclude, buareolimitedo, clearingheigfloor ofallpersonnel. If
he SWL is exceeded,he sheave should bee-certified beforeitcansafely be placed back iservice.

Clevis Options
Five clevis swivel assembly options forsuspending/anchoringthesheave are available: These optiosare showifigures 5–9 below. The
Clevis-Eye has aopening abou2.5” X 3.3” for achainorsling. The opening width ofhe Clevis -AWS is 1 3/4”withahole for a 1” pin.
The opening width ofhe Clevis -HLS is 1 1/4” with a hole fora1”pin. The opening width ofhe Clevis-SJ is 7/8” withaholefor a 1 1/2”
pin. The shackle clevis has abouthe same openingastheClevis-Eye.
